Start Or Stop Automatic Maintenance In Windows 8

Windows 8 Operating System has one more cool feature of Automatic Maintenance which includes Automatic Security Scan, Software Updates and System Diagnostics.
By Default everyday Windows 8 runs Automatic Maintenance when you are not using your Computer.
When Automatic Sytem Maintenance is running on your Computer you will See Action Center System icon as below.


In this Post I will explain you how to Stop or Start Automatic Maintenance in Windows 8 .

Simple Steps to Follow :

Step 1 - First Open Action Center, for Opening Action Center from desktop Click on Action System icon on Taskbar and then click on Open Action Center .You can also open Action Center from Control Panel.


Step 2 – For Starting Automatic Maintenance, In Action Center expand the Maintenance and Click on Start Maintenance .


Step 3 – You Can also set that which time everyday you want to Run Automatic Maintenance, for that just Click on Change Maintenance Settings and then Select the Time.


Step 4 – For Stoping Automatic Maintenance, expand Maintenance and click on Stop Maintenance.


Step 5 – If prompted by UAC, then click on Yes.

Step 6 – Done! Now you can close the Action Center.

Note – You Must be Signed In as an Administrator for Performing Above Steps.
